Defense Minister of Armenia receives NATO Special Representative

Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan received NATO General Secretary΄s Special Representative for South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai today.

During the meeting, the sides stressed the need for maintaining development dynamics of bilateral cooperation in the current format - defense reforms, military education and exercises etc.

The NATO General Secretary΄s Special Representative hailed Armenia΄s participation in the actions toward sustaining international peace and stability under the auspices of both NATO and UN.

The meeting also focused on issues related to regional security. The sides shared concern over the tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line
