Former Ambassador of Armenia to NATO tells students about North Atlantic Alliance

Head of Arms Control and International Security Department of Armenian Foreign Ministry, former Ambassador of Armenia to NATO, Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchyan had a meeting with YSU students at NATO Information Center in Armenia. 

The meeting was organized for the students of Faculty of Journalism at YSU who are in their last year of earning the Bachelor’s Degree. The meeting was held within “International Organizations” subject they study at the university.

At the meeting Samvel Mkrtchyan told the students about the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and Armenia-NATO cooperation, including Individual Partnership Action Plan and Armenia’s peacekeeping missions under NATO auspices, and answered students’ questions. 

At the end of the meeting “Armenia-NATO: Modern History” book published upon the initiative of NATO Information Center was distributed to the students.
