Armenia and Lithuania to cooperate in cyber security sphere

 

Within the visit of acting Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan to Lithuania, the two countries reached agreements on cooperation in cyber and energy security and human resources management spheres.

During the meeting of Seyran Ohanyan and Minister of National Defense of Lithuania Juozas Olekas, development of cooperation in military education, military medicine, peacekeeping and expert consultancy spheres as well.

Both sides attached importance to prospects of development of cooperation in multi-lateral format and particularly participation of the Armed Forces of the two countries in multinational international operations, cooperation within EU and NATO.

The delegation headed by Seyran Ohanyan visited Lithuanian Seimas where he met with Deputy Chairman of the Seimas, Chairman of the Permanent Commission of National Security and Defense as well as friendship groups of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh.

During meetings at Lithuanian Foreign Ministry today, a range scope of issues related to Armenian-Lithuanian relations, process of development and prospects of cooperation within EU Eastern Partnership and NATO.
