Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan met with Head of Force Planning Department of NATO Defense Policy and Planning Division Frank Boland in Yerevan.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Defense Ministry that Frank Boland heads the assessment mission of Planning and Review Process (PARP).

During the meeting, which took place on February 19, Seyran Ohanyan noted that cooperation between the Armenian Defense Ministry and NATO is consistently developing. Minister noted that the Armenian military participate in certain operations and exercise under NATO aegis.

Speaking about participation of Armenian peacekeepers in KFOR and ISAF operations in Kosovo and Afghanistan, Minister stated Armenia’s readiness to continue making contribution to international efforts to maintain peace and stability.

Seyran Ohanyan told Frank Boland about implementation of Strategic Defense Review (SDR) and introduction of a special civil service in the Armenian Defense Ministry.
