Armenia + 28 format NATO session to take place next week

 

Armenia + 28 format NATO session will take place in Brussels - NATO headquarters next week.

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Defense Policy and Planning Jonathan Parish discussed the preparations for the session today in Yerevan.

Edward Nalbandian positively assessed the achievements gained within various programs as a result of continuous cooperation between Armenia and NATO.

NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General stated that the relations between Armenia and NATO are at a high level.

The sides touched upon Armenia-NATO political dialogue, Armenia’s effective participation in international peacekeeping operations, the implementation of reforms in Armenian Armed Forces, cooperation in prevention of emergency situations.

Armenian Foreign Minister presented Armenia’s and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries’ efforts in peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict, stressing the need to support the activities of intermediaries.
