Representative of NATO Public Diplomacy Division Despina Afentouli said today that "Armenia-NATO relations are very constructive and based on sincere and frank dialogue”.

She said this speaking at the presentation of “Armenia-NATO: Modern History” book at the Information Center on NATO today.

Despina Afentouli welcomed the publication of the book noting that it will make NATO-Armenia ties more accessible to the Armenian society.

“Today we have a very good level of a dialogue. It is evidenced by Armenian senior officials’ recent participation in the session of the North Atlantic Council in “28+Armenia” format as well as Armenia’s participation in NATO’s peacekeeping missions, and we are thankful to Armenia for this”, said Despina Afentouli noting that the NATO is going to continue the dialogue.

Head of Arms Control and International Security Department of Armenian Foreign Ministry Samvel Mkrtchyan recalled in his turn that Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan for 2014-2016 had recently been approved.
